Shark Bait

I feel that in an Asian society, children are often expected to do exceptionally well and siblings are often pitted against each other. Many a time, it causes unnecessarily intense competition between/among siblings. This may even result in them growing apart or feeling resentment towards each other. However, people do not realize how detrimental this is to sibling relationships as they only focus on their children’s performance. Hence, I hope my work is able to shed light on this senseless pressure on children, through the depiction of my own sibling rivalry experience.
