Make a Wish

My piece depicts the theme of positivity and hope, especially in hard times when we come across adversities. On the foreground, two girls sit in an old sailboat, their bags indicating that they are runaways. Their surroundings are dark with storm clouds and the choppy waters below toss them around in their boat. Despite this, the sisters are instead focusing on the shooting stars in the sky and making a wish. This reflects how in life’s darkest times, we have to be positive and have hope that things will turn out better, relevant to our current COVID-19 situation as well.
