Tides Remembered

My artwork showcases the different memories I experienced with different people at Changi beach. I decided to go with these few experiences as I am a frequent visitor of this beach and found it amusing how one place can create tons of memories for others. I also chose the title, ‘Tides Remembered’ as I got inspired by the saying, ‘Water holds memories’. I used oil paint for its smoothness and its ability to enhance and bring life into my piece, evoking a sense of familiarity in viewers, who connect and resonate with my work and hopefully reminisce similar experiences.
