1. Is there a theme for the 13-19 Art Prize 2025?

There is no specific theme for the 13-19 Art Prize. Participants are free to create artworks on any theme or subject, allowing them to express their unique perspectives and ideas. However, this year, we encourage participants to commemorate SG60 by creating artworks that celebrate the people, places, and moments that make our nation special – whether through our rich history and culture, iconic landmarks, or the little quirks that define everyday life in Singapore.

2. Can I submit manga/anime style digital works?

Yes. You can submit any style of digital artwork, as long as it is in compliance with the Rules and Regulations.

3. Can I do my artwork on paper? 

All 2D artworks must be presented on a canvas frame or be properly framed. You may use any medium, including but not limited to acrylic, calligraphy, charcoal, colour pencil, crayon, markers, mixed media, oil, and watercolour.

4. Will my submission be accepted if I combine two canvases together?

Yes. Canvas submissions must not exceed the maximum dimension of 180cm x 180cm. irregular shapes within these dimensions are allowed. You can join more than one canvas together to meet the minimum size required.

5. Can I start submitting my artworks now?

All submission can be submitted from 23 June – 4 July 2025. Information on how you can submit your entry or entries will be emailed to you after you have registered for the competition.

6. Do I have to register before I can submit my work?

Yes, you need to register before submission. Details on how to submit, along with submission links for digital works, and/or booking your slots for submitting 2D & 3D artworks, will only be sent to you after we receive your registration details. Register here.

7. How many Gold prizes will be given out?  

There is no set number of Gold prize winners. Judges will award prizes to those they deem deserving of the award.
