Concerns of An Approaching Future

A product of one’s subconscious as a means of determining the self? An invented struggle designed to manufacture a sense of purpose? Or maybe a reflection of the ego, shaped and nurtured by our experiences. This painting questions the nature of ambition. It adopts a rather cynical perspective, rejecting the more traditional and romantic notions of human achievement and presents the turmoil of defining one’s identity, direction and ambition.
