This painting is inspired by the 2019 movement, Escape the Corset, started to fight against toxic Korean beauty standards. It shows Korean archer An San who is known for winning gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Despite her achievement, An faced online harassment for her masculine looks. This painting illustrates An aiming towards the right with five bows. The repeated bows are to symbolise her bravery as a feminist icon for opposing against the destructive Korean beauty standards.
