Ming Rong, an artist with Down syndrome, has been a part of the Art & Craft unit for the past nine years. Through her artworks, she beautifully expresses her perspective, filling each piece with warmth and energy. Her artistic journey in MINDS reflects her growth and evolution, showcasing not only her creativity but also her vibrant spirit.
Beyond her passion for art, Ming Rong is deeply engaged in sports and dance performances. Her passion, perseverance, creativity in expressing her views, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire those around her.
When the theme of SG60 was shared, Ming Rong thought of the flats that most Singaporeans live and grow up in. Using the leftover plants from MINDS Farm and items found at the MINDS Regional Hub, where she is based, she created her view of what Singapore means to her.
