Gift a Guitar is a nationwide charity initiative by SGMUSO and TRCL that brings together celebrated artists, leaders, and brands to nurture the next generation of young musicians in Singapore.

As part of this campaign, 15 exclusive guitars autographed by prominent public figures and artistes — including Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Acting Minister David Neo, JJ Lin, Taufik Batisah, Benjamin Kheng and Shabir Sulthan — will be auctioned to raise funds for a heartfelt cause.

Every winning bid will help fund the Gift a Guitar programme, which provides 600 brand-new acoustic guitars and structured lessons to youths aged 13 to 19 from low-income families. Through music, these young people will learn not only to play an instrument, but also to express themselves, build confidence, and discover resilience and creativity that will guide them through life.

This is more than an auction — it’s a movement of hope, creativity, and compassion. Each signed guitar represents more than a collector’s item. It is a symbol of belief in the potential of our youth, an invitation to join in harmony, and a reminder that when we give, we empower others to dream.
