Through the Window is a charcoal portrait that captures the quiet wonder of childhood through the gaze of a young boy looking beyond ropes that frame his world. With the focus resting on his expressive eye, accompanied only by a glimpse of his cheek and hair, the artwork invites viewers to imagine the story behind his silent expression. The ropes suggest gentle boundaries, while his gaze reflects innocence, curiosity, and an imagination reaching beyond what is seen. It is a tender reminder that a child’s dreams are limitless, finding hope and possibility even within the simplest of moments.
