Café de France

Recently I travelled to Paris with my family, and we came across this cafe and it caught my eye. The green cafe walls and the warm summer sun seeping through the trees, it was yearning to be painted. The impressionists used looser, thin and small brushwork with lighter colours, to create emphasis on the accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities. Which I thought was fitting for what I wanted to paint.
