Lost Memories

‘This artwork explores the fragility of memory and identity through a cat, a certain memory, with a realistic head and a porcelain body that slowly fractures and fades away. Painted with acrylics that gradually lighten, the piece reflects how memories can become fragmented over time, leaving only traces of who we once were. The contrast between the lifelike and realistic head and the breaking porcelain body symbolizes the tension between what remains vivid and what is slowly forgotten. Through this work, I hope viewers can reflect on the memories they cherish and those that quietly slip away.
